Magic of a Different Color is a Phantasmically delicious DIPA brewed with a bunch of oats for a super soft body and then hopped with Centiennial, Citra, Galaxy, Nelson Sauvin, and Phantasm for some super fruity & juicy notes, and then we fermented it with Helio Gazer yeast to bring out even more notes of viognier grapes, lychee, peach, pear, and tropical fruit!⠀

Drekker Magic Of A different Color DNEIPA, 8% ABV. Pours hazy orange with a 3-finger orange head that left great lacing. Nose is fruit. Taste follows, slightly sweet, slightly bitter. Decent juicy mouthfeel, overall excellent.

Canned 10/31/22 (2.5 months ago)

Appearance: Pours a mostly hazy (10% clarity) light golden color with a moderate white head. SRM of 6. (4.00)

Aroma: Strong aromas of orange citrus, tropical pineapple, some stonefruit and grapefruit citrus at the end. (4.25)

Flavor: Strong and juicy flavors of orange citrus ,torpical pineapple, apricot and some bubblegum. Smooth and sweet finish. (4.00)

Feel: Medium-bodied, average carbonation. Leans sweet. (4.00)

Compared to Drekker Garbage People 1/13/2023: Pours lighter, stronger aromas. More tropical peach and stonefruit. Less citrus and zest. Heavier and sweeter.

Overall: A more heavy and resinous NEIPA from Drekker. But not in the normal melon and berry sense. More in the tropical peach, apricot, and grape flavors. (Rating: 4.06)

Drekker is one of the best at hazy IPA's. Keep on sending them east!

This awesome IPA pours a nice yellow with fizz and lacing - pretty. The aroma is outstanding for the style - less stench, more interesting hoppy beverage. The taste is a juicy treat from loads of malts and hops with a somewhat boozy and bitter aftertaste. It's a challenge for food because this brew is the star, not the food.

Highly recommended. Drekker is a blind faith buy for me when I need a hazy treat or some authentic brains. I heart zombies nand I don't mind paying $5-6 for a perfect, fresh can. Thanks, Drekker, and thanks to my dealer, Save On in Mentor.
