We brewed Fangs Out with a bunch of oats & spelt and hopped it with Centennial, Citra, Mosaic, and Galaxy for some killer tropical fruit & citrus flavor and aroma balanced out with just the perfect bitterness.

Poured from the tap into a tulip. Pours cloudy orange yellow with a small white head. Smells of bright fresh citrus. Tastes of fresh citrus with nice pine notes. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

Poured that raw honey color and about that transparency. The nearly white head was shorter than expected but left good rings of lacing.
The aroma I’m sure is fine, I just can’t tell right now.
The taste is quite good, the melon fruits are pitted fruit (think peaches, apricots) are very prominent and mouth filling in flavors. At least one of the hops puts a bit of an edge to it so it never gets too sweet or juice like. Actually very nice.
The feel is really good, after seeing the murk I was afraid of a slushy but this drinks like a classic NEIPA.
Glad to find it in Michigan!

Canned 12/20/22 (1 month ago)
Appearance: Pours a completely hazy (5% clarity) pale and dusky golden color with a mild white head. SRM of 6. (4.00)
Aroma: Strong aromas of tropical orange, peaches tangerine. Some tropical pineapple. (4.00)
Flavor: Strong flavors of orange, tropical pineapple, tangerine. Tropical and juicy. Neither sweet not dry. (4.00)
Feel: medium-bodied, average carbonation, balanced finish neither sweet nor dry. (4.25)
Compared to Wiley Roots Three C's Perpetual Movement 1/2023: Pours darker, hazier, similar head. Stronger aromas. More tropical orange and pineapple. Less resinous peach and tangerine. Lighter, cleaner, and more balanced. Winner: Drekker
Overall: This NEIPA drinks very well. Packs lots of juicy and tropical orange flavors. Hints of the passionfruit and peach from the Galaxy but not overpowering. The Centennial and Citra hops are here mostly. Clean and balanced. Nicely done. (Rating: 4.08+)

Drekker Fangs Out NEIPA, 6.7% ABV. Pours hazy orange with a 3+ finger off-white head that left great lacing. Nose is a vague light fruitiness. Taste is juicy pineapple and orange, slightly sweet, moderately bitter. Decent mouthfeel, whatever the hell that means. Overall excellent.
