Semblance is a hoppy farmhouse wheat beer. Amarillo and Azacca hops as whirlpool and dry hop additions contribute a wonderfully complex fruit character which compliments the house yeast culture. It's dry, balanced, and super flavorful.

tasty brew here, only my second ever from kent falls. i thought it might be a little more wild, but i really like its clean and easy drinking nature, and i love all the hops on it, almost like a farmhouse pale more than a saison, very well made overall and a nice one for warm weather. light bodied and simple, wheat based, but without the fluffy fuller feel a lot of them have. bright carbonation and really dry too, its refreshing in feel even before the flavor is considered. lots of hop character here, bitter citrus and green vegetables to me (in a good way), bold for such a light body and low abv, they really stand out, but very fresh in here, a little more aromatic than flavorful to me, but nice for both senses. the middle is a little bland to me, a pinch of rye malt or something here would go a long way, but i do like and appreciate its simple and even elegant nature. the yeast is lightly belgian to me, a little rustic without being particularly wild, but it does have an old world farmy vibe about it. overall a nice easy drinking beer with a bright hop profile thats big for the style, modernizing, and really defining in this one, i need to get some more kent falls beers!

Bottle poured into fluted snifter.
Bright straw, semi-clouded, thick foamy white head that settles into ring around the glass quickly.
Aroma of fresh grass, herbal, spicy, lemon zest and yeast.
Flavor is bright and crisp. Ever so slight tartness followed by citrus, yeasty dough and a spicy and herbal earthiness. Very pleasant and refreshing.
Moderate carbonation and lighter side of medium body. Bubbly but not effervescent.
Clean flavors with complex layers. Very refreshing, but not a one-trick pony.

Had on tap. Pours cloudy, light yellow in color with 1/3 inch head. Taste is Belgian yeast, pilsener malt, with light flower and pepper. Light bodied, sweet, with high carbonation. Really tasty saison. Different from other saisons I have had. Great first impression from the brewery. I would get this again.
