Poured a brown body with minimal head and no lace. A rye malt and bready aroma (guess you could say rye bread) with something akin to sour notes comprises the aroma. Smooth beer that has an odd, slightly licorice/anise sweetness with a fuller, bready body that has a strong rye presence in the finish. It was a good beer to try but I'm not too familiar with this style to really say if it's spot-on example or not.
