Poured a cloudy, yellow body with minimal head and a one finger lace ring. Aroma is mostly tropical fruit with yeast twang. The beer is smooth, light bodied and easy to drink but the sweetness in the beer can be cloying at times. This struck me less as a saison than a Belgian pale or singel b/c the farmhouse/sour characteristics in some saisons is missing, as is a strong malt base, and it's more of a sweet, tropical fruity/ester taste that I get. I enjoyed this beer and all but not what I was expecting.
