Clean, golden color. Nice, white head. Grain, citrus, grass, and light black pepper notes in the aroma. Pleasant, refreshing taste with crisp ending and moderate bitterness.

Clear bright golden body with a white head and visible carbonation. Wet hay, grassy and floral hops with lemon zest fill the nose. Taste gets the grape everyone is so excited about in a light and skin focused way, added to the elements from the nose I get additional biscuit, big white pepper and lime zest intermingled with the lemon. Ending is hoppy but not very bitter rather more botanical. Despite all of the enhanced complexity compared to the nose, it is a little busy for the lighter and short lived crisp body. Carbonation is too high. More interesting than good but it goes to a great cause

These guys really push the envelope, but it is a political envelope instead of hops.... and I love their push.
Courage opens slightly above average for a sickly looking style. Smells have character, more sweet malt and, secondly, more grassy hops than usual. Tastes are about the same, but balanced as the hops really only contain the malts and let the malts determine the character and depth. In a thin style, this is medium mouth. But there is this after after-finish in which the hops finally assert subtlety.
Bought from Tavour (who I've foresworn for a while because they offer too many experiments that I get tired of.) But I'm glad Threes Brewing showed up in my last shipment because they really push the envelope politically. Proceeds are donated to the ACLU, historically a great organization. Threes Brewing has expanded its reach to a network of ninety breweries. Truly, the micro-revolution is about invention and where the profits go is part of the mix. I'd like to visit these guys, but as infrequently as I visit the Big Apple these past five years... I suppose Courage will have to do.

Can from the brewery in Brooklyn. Pours a clear light amber with a finger of bubbly white head that sticks around, decent lacing, smell is mild, sweet biscuits, hint of sour grass, taste is sweet and mildly citrusy up front, decent amount of pithy grapefruit bitterness on the finish, feel is light, lively carbonation. An easy drinking hopped up lager.

This one pours a just slightly hazy golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like lemony hops, grassiness, white wine grape skin, lime, and biscuity malt.
I'm not surprised that this was tasty. There's a nice exotic and spicy hop character to it - with white pepper, grassiness, and white grapes, with a pleasant bitterness to it. There's a nice doughy and bready malt character as well.
This is light bodied, and super drinkable, with a crisp and at times creamy mouthfeel to it.
This one works well for me, as I expected.

A: The beer is slightly hazy light yellow in color and has a light to moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high bright white head that left some patches of bubbles on the surface and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of green grapes are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and mostly has flavors of green grapes. Just a faint amount of bitterness is present.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and clean on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is very easy to drink and has nice aromas and flavors of green grapes.
