Draught pint at Mick O'Shea's here in Baltimore: Nice murky medium copper colored body with a white head that sadly disappeared quickly as did the initial lacing; a whiff of toffee & hops on the nose, more of the same plus toast on the tongue; medium body with pleasing carbonation. Why doesn't every pub have an ESB on tap?

On draught at the Judges Bench.
The pour is an amber/tea color with a substantial 1-1/2 finger beige head, and nice splotchy lacing.
The caramelized malt flavor is delicious, biscuity, complimented by some very enjoyable hops bitterness. Notes of toffee, black tea, cocoa, a little earthiness. The finish is enjoyable with a lingering caramel bitterness aftertaste.
An enjoyable Extra Special Bitter.
