a super light and minimal lager here, but also one thats real cleaned up and well refined, which it almost has to be with so little happening in it. very pale yellow, radiant and sunny and perfectly clear from the tap under a solid and lathery white head. it smells and tastes like simple pils malt without either the crackery or the european flare, its lesser than that, but not in a bad way, lightly earthy with simple cereal vibes, bone dry, and its well supported by some bittering hops, good balance, this is not hoppy but the finish is snappy with just a faint bitter tone. the yeast is mild too, softly bready but it really can only be tasted because the rest of this is so light, definitely a clean fermentation profile on this, dry and fast finishing, nothing left on the palate at all. great carbonation, light but not watery texture, ever so slightly creamy feeling through the big head. well made stuff, a beer for everyone, no frills but its executed to a pretty high level. i could mow through a bunch of these on a hot summer day, awesome outside space these guys have at their taproom, definitely the spot to post up and crush these. good effort here...
