No canning date (presumably canned ~8/20/19)
Pours a translucent dark purple body (an expected blackberry tone) topped with a small frothy white head touched with rosy hues; head recedes rather quickly to a slowly fading cap/collar along with semi-thick layers of both dense and speckled lacing around the glass.
Aroma presents a sense of blackberry in front of a dominant foundation of dry bubblegum and rustic/barnyard elements.
Taste shows faded blackberry with strong bubblegum undertones and a touch of barnyard funk fading through the mid-palate.
Mouthfeel brings a light-medium body with subtle, bolstering carbonation; steady along the palate, while lightly prickly and very drying into the finish.
While this is pretty one-dimensional and lacking some of the promised fruitier tones, there’s a very easy-drinking element that compliments its more minor complexities. On an unrelated note, it’s also nice to see an example of TIlted Barn branching out in styles a bit.
