I tasted this at the brewery, and took some home with me in a 1/2 growler.
Look: Not a particularly pretty beer. Amber in color, but very cloudy. Could just be part of an English Bitter, but not something I'm accustomed to.
Smell: Malty, slightly grainy, with a hint of dried fruit.
Taste: Like a lager mixed with IPA. Malty, slightly bittersweet chocolate, and a hop finish. It almost becomes bitter, but never quite passes that threshold.
Feel: Slightly grainy, but not unpleasant.
Overall: I liked this beer. When it warms up the bitterness can sometimes show itself, especially in tiny sips. Different from what I'm used to, but enjoyable nonetheless.
