Pours copper brown, yellowish head dissipates to lacing.
Aroma of biscuit malt, clove and some other spices, maybe cinnamon, and overripe bananas.
Flavor is nutmeg, cardamom, allspice, a little cinnamon, overripe bubblegummy banana, and sweet bready malt.
Medium body, tingly carbonation on the tongue.
This "bananas foster" inspired beer accomplishs what it sets out to do. It's a banana-y dessert in a can. But is it good? Meh. It's drinkable. The flavor is a bit cloying. I'll happily finish the rest of it. And honestly I would probably like this a lot more in the fall as a pumpkin-alternative. It's got a lot of similarities with pumpkin beer.
