Clear pale yellow with small white head.
Smell is a little sulfur and leafy hops, yeast, hint of fruity esters.
Taste is pretty clean and basic saison, straight down the middle.
Mouthfeel is light and dry.
Drinkability is solid, refreshing, just enough flavor to be interesting while maintaining quafability.

my first beer from these guys, i definitely wanted a little more out of it. not that this one is all that hyped up, but the brewery sure is, and i expected it to be better and more distinct than it is. looks the part, hazy and wheaty obviously, thicker, creamy white head. smells way less funky than anticipated, not even sure there is brett or any wild agents in here at all instead a more mild yeast complexion, a little farmy with some white wine elements and a general belgian vibe, but quite refined, not as rustic as it could be for sure. some decent hops to this though, and i like it in that regard, lemon and green apple come to mind there. fuller body too which i really like, and the wheat malt is fresh and flavorful. i wanted this to be weirder and more distinctive, but i do like it as a wheat beer. good carbonation and dry but not vanishing in the finish, lemongrass ad white pepper on the back end, a little tannic, but clean for what it is. overalll this was the least impressive of the three beers i had from these guys in my california trip, but still a worthy glass of beer no doubt. just sort of unremarkable
