Exciting, new, and steeped in the tropics Dreaming In Neon is a laser beam of East Asian flavors with fresh squeezed notes of passionfruit, yuzu, kumquat and papaya. Delicate notes of lemongrass and floral citrus round out this IPA that balances juiciness with drinkability perfectly while showcasing a couple of our favorite new hops.

Hops: Mosaic, Idaho 7, and Bru-1

No canning date (released on 8/21/20, so presumably canned within a few days of that date)

Pours an opaque, vibrant dark orange body capped with multiple fingers of dense, frothy white foam; great head retention yields a semi-creamy, half-finger of cap, rocky mounds of collar circling the surface, and a taut walling of soapy lacing largely covering the glass.

Aroma opens light and grassy, with accents of flaky malt before soft undertones of orange and lime become increasingly defined; lemongrass, mushy kumquat, and papaya progress in a continually understated fashion as floral notes flows through the back end, highlighting yuzu and a dense amalgam of tropical juices.

Taste features evolving lemongrass tones beneath lush tropical notes of passionfruit, mango peel, tangerine, and kumquat; orange sorbet and overripe honeydew melon leveled with grassy undertones on the back end lean into a sweetness belying the overarching floral/earthy tones to the profile.

Mouthfeel brings a medium-light body with a fluffy, incredibly consistent, moderate carbonation; a wispy, juicy texture flows over the mid-palate with a minor, hoppy grit in tow as a light bitterness appearing on the back end brings a semi-dry finish with a flaky malt crispness.

Fresh and floral, with an incredibly earthy heart and a cohesive, spectacularly attenuated sweetness tying the profile together with no sense of overbearing; a plush, intriguing example of eccentric flavors coming together in prime, drinkable form.
