Appearance: yellow-orange-beige; opaque with haze. The head has fair retention that ultimately fades to the thinnest veil.
Aroma: fresh pineapple and must; I hate to say it, but a “generic” NE IPA hop aroma.
Flavor: incongruous with the nose; little pineapple. Dry. The mustiness exists in the flavor albeit light. Not the most flavorful hops. Not super juicy.
Mouthfeel: medium-medium. Nearly spot on. Very enjoyable.
Overall: good but not great. I’d place this in the middle of WW’s IPA portfolio. I’d opt to try any new WW’s beer before revisiting this one. That’s not to say this was bad in any way, just not the best Weldswerks has offered this year.
