On tap at Folksbier, Brooklyn, NY.
Pours a clear golden color. A very creamy and well retaining head yields swirls of lacing. Nice look.
The nose opens grainy yet with a touch of must. Then, fruity and lightly tart aromas of lemon, lime, peach and pear. A hint of graham cracker malt sweetness contrasts with spicy aromas of grass, coriander and peppercorn.
Opens malty with just the slightest touch of sweetness. The malt base evokes a nice combination of crisp cracker and soft doughy bread. The palate is dry and accompanied by fruity notes of peach, lemon, pear, and gassy and peppery spices. The hops bitterness is balancing and assertive.
Light bodied with a crisp and clean mouthfeel. The finish is refreshingly dry. The carbonation is effervescent and lively.
Nice! Really tasty, light drinking and refreshing Grisette. It has some nice character. I would have again.
