16oz can poured into a pilsner glass shows a proud brick-red colored body and supports a consistent 1/8in head of off-white bubbles that had fallen from a good 2in cap. Sheets of erratic lacing cling briefly before rejoining the body.
Aroma is caramel forward with plenty of fresh air and a hint of cut grass.
Flavor is all caramel, bread, and just enough citrus to keep it from being too sweet and without being too insistent itself.
Medium mouthfeel leans a tad full and finishes clean.
Overall a solid local red.

Had on tap. Great cloudy reddish copper body with a tan cap. Brown bread, caramel, earth and touches of floral hops in the nose. Taste adds light citrus, one the sweeter end but works for me. Malt forward in smell and taste, full for style, good clean ending. Very nice irish red ale

A nice local Irish Red option. Reminds me of Smithwicks with a touch more nuance.
