Got this just because I was interested in a craftMexican lager. I was expecting more of a Vienna (a la some brewpubs will do) but I think this might just be a light lager.
Pours a pretty light straw color. Not really golden, but heading more along the lines of greenish-yellow. I saw this side by side with a Session and this is a lot more pale. Head's pretty solid, though.
Smells pretty much like a macro lager to me. A little bit of malt, but more sour than anything else.
Tastes really mild. Not really getting anything on the hops front, but there's a little bit of grain. Tastes pretty much like a light beer to me. Not getting anything that would make me pick it out over one.
Goes down really easy and the texture's spot on.
I really think this is just a craft light beer. It almost tasted too mild to even just be a non-light lager.
Probably good for a really hot day, but I'd rather have something cheaper.
I wanted to like this, but it just wasn't much.

I agonized on the styling for this, the brewery describes it as a Mexican style lager using all German Pils malts, so I let my senses make the call.
Pours a light effervescent gold with 2 fingers of eggshell white head. Average lacing & head retention
S: Corny, honey sweetness, & floral hops
T: Grassy, grainy, plus some some nice biscuitty malt & bready notes. Once warm, I get honey malt & lemony, plus soapy hops. More of the same in the nice crisp finish.
MF: Medium bodied with good carbonation & balance
Drinks very easy, a good, not great German Pils, certainly superior than any of that crap you'd put a lime in
