A hazy blonde ale brewed with malted wheat. Its light body and bright, complex dry hop aromatics make it both highly refreshing and full of flavor. ABV: 5.5%, IBU: 35

22oz bomber in a tulip glass.

"Really Pale Ale" it is! Very light pale lemon color. It started with a massive cotton candy-like white head that faded slowly to a puffy fat film that left ring and paste lacing. Hazy with active carbonation., busy.

There's citrus hop on the nose but it also reminds me of a Belgian pale ale with some lemon and floral smell, some yeast even, and light fruits.

More Belgian style. The white wheat, once again, makes for light, pale flavor. Lemon, grapefruit, pear, floral esters.

Mouth feel is ultra light and fizzy. The flavors work but the finish and aftertaste are uneven and not clean. The hop bite is tart and sharp, avoiding over-bitterness. It's not enough to carry the feel overall, though.

I love the truth in advertising; "Really Pale" it certainly is - in look and flavor. It lacks the malt body of a typical APA but it was very fresh and something different. Not bad.

16 oz can from Tavour. Milky, hazy gold pour, fluffy head fades but still covers beer. Mild aroma of citrus and bread, small hints of tropical fruit. Taste comes in juicy, light citrus, more sweet than tart. Grapefruits and lemons. Smooth with a small hoppy tingle.

This to me tastes and smells like an English Pale Ale. It looks like NEw England though.

The color and slight haze remains the same but the head is thick and billowy this time; very long lasting. Soft and faint aroma but yielding up gentle notes of powdered sugar and light bread crust; mild lemon. Finely balanced flavors of biscuit and bread crust with soft hop bitterness notes; some lemony notes but very low-key. Medium body; rich and full on the palate.

This second go around has been much more enjoyable than a few weeks back. Perhaps I cracked the can open too soon after receiving the shipment, and time has now allowed the can and its contents to settle down. A nice, long chill in the fridge certainly didn't hurt. Anyway, I'm sold on this beer. It has a beautiful appearance and pleases the nose and mouth all around.
------------------------
Soft and cloudy pale yellow body; wispy, fizzy head. Decent aroma of grapefruit and lemon. Bready, doughy malt base with a mild citrus overtone and relatively strong hop bitterness; light powdered sugar sweetness. Medium body; somewhat fizzy from the carbonation yet with a slickness also in play; dry with some citrus pucker to the mouthfeel.

I suppose the wheat accounts for some of the bread-like flavor and mouthfeel smoothness. Still, the beer seems pretty understated across the board. There is little in the way of eye-appealing head or enticing aroma. The taste isn't bad yet doesn't provide much excitement, while the mouthfeel doesn't do much either. The can has the date of 06/13/19 on it, so it should be relatively fresh, but this sample just seems stale. Ah, well. It's drinkable.
