Poured into a lager glass.
The appearance was a pale burnt orange color with a light paper yellow hue along the sides. Three finger white foamy head sustained for a little bit and then slid off fairly delicate. Two rings of strung out lace glossed along the sides nicely.
The aroma had a sweet grassy hoppiness up front playing with a little bit of white pepper, some floral hop bits and an ever so light biscuit/lager sweetness coming in slightly for balance.
The flavor was moderately sweet yet brought in a slight spicy hop presence for a little complexity. Slight grassy to floral dry hopping in the aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Some dryness seemed to grip some of the floral to spicy character, but wasn't too distracting. Carbonation felt good. ABV felt spot on. Nice spicy to floral character in the finish.
Overall, as an American pale lager or perhaps coming close to the India pale lager, I'd say this one works and wouldn't mind coming back to.

Moderate pour yields a one inch white head over a slightly hazy body with some lacing. Head dissipates down to a ring after a few minutes. Real nice nose of tropical fruit! Taste follows with a very unique lager-like flavor, sort of, due to the fruitiness and bitter IPA-like finish. Nice feel and overall, a very, very unique offering from Hinesburg, VT. Is it an IPL or maybe, dare I say a NEIPL?!?!?

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
