Relax this Summer with a crisp and refreshing lager showcasing European Pilsner malt lending flavors of light honey, cracker, and bread crust. Lovely floral notes from Saaz hops balance out the flavor leaving a beer that is full of depth yet extremely drinkable.

Light golden color with small white cap.
Aroma of graham cracker malt and floral hops.
Taste on entry is mild sweet malt and a much bigger hop presence than the scent implies. I get about a 60/40 hop to malt ratio and in a blind tasting would identify this as an IPA rather than a simple Lager.
Brewer promotes this as an easy drinking Lager and I mostly agree. It is a relatively simple and uncomplicated AAL style with a bunch more hops. Flavors are good but a bit unbalanced.

Had Barrier Island "Summer Lager" poured from 12-oz. can, label ambiguously stamped "1470" and "03620," into pilsner glass.
Standard straw color, with a big head that lasts a bit, and leaves a bit of lace. Big aroma of sweet malt, noble hop spice and some fruit. Same on drinking, then despite the use of Saaz rather Germanic in its crisp nearly bitter, but surprisingly rather grainy, finish.
