Nice looking pour, golden amber, clean and clear. Frothy head, good lacing. Taste is definitely very much malt-forward with just enough hops to keep the palate engaged. Very smooth feel. Slightly sweet, easy drinking, just 5.6% ABV. Just right for a early fall day. Recommended for those who enjoy a malty beer.

12oz can from Boise Co-op. Deep golden body, clear, foamy off-white head. Malty aroma, cereal, sweet. Taste is pretty sweet, malty, corn flakes. Finishes dry, mouth coating, dull bitterness lingers.

12oz can served in a pint glass. Beer is coppery and crystal clear and forms a massive white head. Not much in the way of aroma. There's a malt flavor, but instead of the tangy kick of Munich malt the dominant flavor I get is a yeasty funk reminiscent of German weissbier. But why? There's some noble hop character present to dry it out, but not enough to distract from what I consider to be a defect in this style. That said, the mouthfeel is fantastically creamy, and it sure looks nice in a glass -- just glad I don't have to drink a Maßkrug of this.

Poured from 12oz can into a dimpled mug. Can is labeled best by 2/25/22.
Appearance: medium golden hue with a little bit of haze and a thick finger of frothy ivory foam. Looks great!
Smell: malty with a light, toasty character and a definite lager note. It almost feels just a little spicy; I quite like it.
Taste: rich, malty, and bready, but with a lightness that is quite refreshing. That almost-spicy yeast note is in the flavor as well, and for me it works. Good stuff.
Mouthfeel: medium-light body with a big carbonation and a nice, refreshing fizziness, if not exactly a ton of creaminess.
Overall: a very refreshing, tasty example of the festbier style. Prost!

12oz can served in a wineglass. Bought it at Whidbey Beer Works today. Dated 08-05-20.
Pours mostly clear light amber with a small head and not a lot of carbonation. Smell is mild, grain, a little grass, some yeast if I look for it.
Taste is balanced a little towards hops and crispness -- grassy, almost herbaceous. Still grainy, barley tea. Nice.
Mouthfeel is light and crisp. Overall, nice beer.
