750 ml bottle into a tulip glass. Had 10/2/17.
Pours a lightly cloudy, bright yellow with an orange tint. Has a nice one and a half inch head with good retention, and lots of foamy lacing. Aromas of Belgian yeast, Hallertau hops, some Candi sugar, a little biscuit, light malt, a hint of mint, light black pepper as it warms. The taste also begins with the Belgian yeast, then malt, the hops, some Candi sugar, a very light citrus, a decent amount of hop bitterness throughout. Smooth, a good light to medium body, kind of refreshing, well carbonated.
Very enjoyable, I always like pronounced Hallertau hops presence, and you get that here. Great aroma, very good flavor. Well worth a purchase.

My first from Mikerphone. (I am yet still amazed at finding something new in my backyard.)
And a very pleasant find is this saison.
I ordinarily am shy towards dry-hopped beers and saisons in particular. But this one remained balanced, despite becoming increasingly dry as the bottle and lunch were completed. I would have Blanc Party again and if I were to venture out to their suburban taproom, I would like to have it there. Hope they have flights.

This has a really nice saison taste but is just too heavy for a saison. To me at least, a saison shouldn't taste as thick as a New England IPA.
