Pours a lightly hazy pale yellow color small one finger white head miniaml lacing.
Aroma is bready wheaty malt light grass and funk some light tropical fruit notes from the hops. Nice nose a good hybrid as far as the nose goes.
Taste is not as nice as the nose, light wheat notes , even lighter funk some tropical fruit notes and mild spice. Some grassy bitter hops that mingle with to much carbonation at the end. Man kind of dissapointed the nose was so tasty smelling.
Mouthfeel is light with too much carbonation in my opion it is a distraction.
Overall it smells wonderful but everything else is eh average.

Thank you Grizzarky for this
16 oz can, dated 9/11/17, poured into a pint glass
A- A slightly hazy golden straw color with a three finger white head.
S- A nice mildly funky yeast stands out right away, getting peppercorns, cloves, hints of pears, bright galaxy hops, citrus, hints of melons, touch of wheat.
T- Wheat, mild funk, peppercorns, citrusy hops, light fruits, finish is a little piney.
M- Smooth, medium body, soft.
O- A nice dry hopped Saison, you can tell that they are letting their IPAs influences the hopping of this beer. A nice balance between an IPA and a Saiosn.

Pretty outstanding unison of the BI ale approach and a spiced, grassy, phenol-filled farmhouse saison, very honest to both.
Straw-colored and lightly hazy body with a huge foamy white head of large bubbles that hung around even after the sipping started and provided a little sticky lacing.
Smell is wet hay, lemon, pepper, cracker, a wee bit of tropical fruit, green apple, banana and clove, and grapefruit rind.
Taste follows with peppery grass, light and bright citrus, tart apple, green grape skins, pine resin, rice cracker, and a little clovey funkiness on the backend.
Feel is well-carbonated and light-medium bodied.
Really, really well executed beer. For a BI offering this is a definite standout from the normal IPA/IIPA mold, though the BI DNA is still present. They used to do some solid dark beers, etc, so I’m glad to see them branching out a bit again. And as a farmhouse ale, this is truly fantastic.

Poured from 16 oz can dated 9/11/2017
A: Slightly hazy straw yellow with one finger white head. Short retention and almost no lacing.
S: Pear, pineapple, green papaya, and apples. Subtle notes of clove, star anise, and pepper.
T: Lemon custard with pink peppercorns mixed with some tropical fruits and lingering hop bitterness.
M: Medium body that is maybe a touch thick for the style. Average carbonation and missing that crisp and dry finish.
O: Nice departure from Bearded Iris’s normal style. Blurring the lines between IPA and saison.
