Pick up your usual imperial oatmeal stout with vanilla bean + cocoa nib + creamy lactose and add Yukro coffee beans, roasted by our friends CREMA, for bright and refreshing notes of melon, orange blossoms, and honey.

16 oz can thanks to Buck89.
Pours a deep, dark brown. Foamy mocha colored head that asserts 2+ fingers, but dissipates to a thin filmy Rorschach patchwork.
Smell is robust, mildly fruity, coffee. A sweet cream note pokes in toward the middle only to retreat.
Taste is definitely coffee forward, but the smooth, round vanilla-tinged cream tames the dominant coffee notes with a mild sweetness.
Mouthfeel is medium, lighter than I expected, and finishes with the cream & roast.
Overall, a tasty coffe stout. I'm just wondering if the mouthfeel changed due to me sitting on it for a few months.

Draught @ Beer Temple. Pours an almost black colour and a light brown head, but just a thin layer and not much retention. Aroma's are sweet, molasses, coffee with additionally some red fruit retronasal, Flavour is sweet, coffee, a bit red fruit. Medium bodied. Long roasty finish.

Poured into a wine glass. And no pink dark brown color with a medium sized tan head. Great foam retention. Huge coffee aroma on the nose, Followed by a more subdued vanilla and lactose sweetness. The coffee was front and center, producing a fantastic flavor that complemented the base flavor and the vanilla sweetness. There was a modest fruitiness that played well with the other flavors. Just outstanding.
