L: Clear Straw gold color with a small white head and little lacing lots of carbonation bubbles.
S: Bready malt, with lemon, clove and some banana. Very inviting aroma.
T: Bready malt, lemon and clove, some banana and lemon peel bitterness. Finishes quite dry.
F: Higher carbonation, medium body.
O: One of the better saisons I have had.

another really good beer from the brand new spangalang. this one is great because it fuses the best elements of a belgian pale ale with an american saison. it has a pretty sturdy base, not overly hazy but not clear either, and its very alive and heady in the glass. the nose is belgian yeast esters, white grape, taffy, coriander, and lime. the saison aspect smells more musty, farmy, wheaty in the base. those elements, mostly yeast derived, come together really well in the flavor, with a substantial hopping on the back end, as grassy as it is bitter, but certainly robust, americanizing the beer a little bit, but without giving up its original concept. fuller body is useful with all the flavors swirling around in this one, and the carbonation is on point. good for two or three of this, its a little intense for much more than that, but its really well done and unique among denver saisons. ill drink this one all summer.
