Served in a shaker pint. Straw yellow in color and slightly hazy with a small white head that quickly disappears. Sour aroma with some light fruitiness. Flavor is clean, mild, and sour. Light malt flavor with no hops present. Very light bodied and easy drinking. The sourness is restrained and does not overwhelm. Would be nice to try with a shot of syrup, as is tradition in Germany. A well-made Berliner Weisse.

I didn't have this with syrup nor was I offered it. Very pale thin yellow. Decent nose, a bit lemony maybe a tiny bit of sour. Good lemony flavor good mouthfeel, thicker than it appears. Overall a nice Berliner.

I will add that this beer goes up in rating depending on the fruity syrup added to it. Normally, that would be a cheat, but historically, Berliner Weiss beers are supposed to have fruit syrup added. This one is particularly good with rasberry. Nice!
