On-tap @ Demented Brewing in Middlesex, NJ.
Served in a shaker pint. Pale gold in color with a small white head. Lighter and more clear than your usual hefeweizen, possibly a result of being served on draft and not getting enough yeast in the pour. Light banana and clove with a faint sweetness in both the aroma and flavor. These components could be more pronounced than they are. Hop bitterness is low, which is a plus. Light bodied and refreshing but very thin, even for the style. Could be improved by boosting the body a bit more.
Any local brewery is producing German style wheat beers like hefeweizen and dunkelweizen is going to get my attention (and probably a good chunk of my money). A little on the light and watery side, but Rumpelstiltskin showed some promise and I hope they continue to brew it and improve it for years to come.

The color of this beer didn't match the picture on he website. It was extremely light in color. Not much aroma here. The taste is nice, light and refreshing, but there's not much going on here, I don't get the traditional hefe notes here. It's kind of like a hefe light. Not my favorite Demented brew so far. Their other recent release, Moon Reaper, was stellar.
