Appearance: black in color with a 1/4" head. Some lace develops.
Smell: roasted tones are all you can detect.
Taste: roasted malt, mild milk chocolate, a hint of coffee, and a mild bitterness.
Mouthfeel: medium bodied beer. Lightly crisp to start, smoother at the finish. Short lasting aftertaste.
Overall: this beer did not deliver the chocolate punch I was expecting compared to some other breweries. Decent beer but Envy is the preferable stout for me.

On nitro so feel is stellar. Pours with the Stout cascade. Smell is roasted and chocolate. Taste is export stout but more mouthfeel. A very nice example of stout.

Poured black with small tan head and very little lacing. Light smell of cocoa. Tastes of chocolate, coffee and burnt malt. Fairly thin mouthfeel. It's a smooth, easy drinking stout. Glad I tried it.
