Sampled an obnoxiously expensive four ounce keg pour at an obnoxiously expensive bar. Delicious, ultra-sweet and hoppy IPA. Huge beer for a 7.5, with big hops, big sweetness, big aroma, etc. I think it was sweeter even than my favorite sweetie IPAs like Gummypocalypse. Cute Chicago-themed name; the beer is better than the actual neon green relish on a "dog dragged through the garden". Worth trying again, although certainly not a beer you can have more than a bit at a time. Save this one to savor, not to drink at a big party at a bar while distracted with conversation!

Huh, my beer doesn't seem to be working properly. Have you tried to unplug it and plug it back again? Yea, that did the trick.
And now the secret is out on Hop Butcher's... vivid, double, hazy IPA. Pale and cloudy, Neon Green Relish hits the glass with an off-mashed potato pour, a frothy eggshell cap and an enormous scent of citrus, tropical fruit, fine herb and woods before the first creamy sip of cereal, lychee and pastry dough. But when the Citra hops hit, they hit! A starburst of tangerine, mango and apricot seem bright and juicy while the softer side of Sabro brings coconut cream, pineapple and lychee sweetness. Rounding out into a tea-like balance of cedar, eucalyptus, verbena and sassafras and the smoothly bitter session comes to a rest.
Medium full and striking the difference between flavorful and refreshing ale, this neon beer is on sip after sip.

A - Extremely hazy appearance that's borderline opaque mixing hues of peach and orange.
S - Big dank, herbal citrus aroma that dominates the nose.
T - Follows the nose (big surprise) = BIG dank citrus, juicy floral, and herbal presence that slams the palate and ends on the sweeter, herbally danker side with low bitterness (but just enough) that makes it really desirable on the palate.
M - Big and pillowy soft, chewy body that ends more on the drier side
O - This has to be one of the BEST 7.5's I've ever had!!

Hazy straw colour, nice tight head to leave a ring of lacing.
Smell is fruity, orange, citrus, somewhat tropical hint of coconut
Taste is the same, with that usual hop butcher taste, that I can only describe as sort of vanilla.
Feel is zingy but still rich. Good

16oz can. Bottom stamp reads 'PKG 9/18/23 09:28:56 RELISH THE MOMENT'.
Hazy, straw colored body. Three fingers of fluffy white head, which retreats to an interrupted cap and high ring. Leaves behind winding bands of lacing.
Aroma of papaya, coconut, pineapple, and orange.
Taste is a cascade of fruit - peach, papaya, orange, grapefruit, and pineapple. A little coconut and a touch of strawberry. Sweet fruit in the aftertaste. Slight bite but bitterness is low.
Fuller mouth feel. Soft in texture. ABV% is well hidden. Very good carbonation.
Sweet fruit candy IPA, but avoids the overripe flavor.

16 ounce can into a tulip snifter. Canned 6/21/21, had 7/18/21.
Pours a hazy orange yellow, with a one inch foamy head and some foamy lacing. Aromas of peach, orange, papaya, some melon, some pine and grass. The flavors are mostly the same- orange, papaya, peach, malt, a little melon on the finish, pine and grass, some hop bitterness up front and into the aftertaste. Smooth, a very good lighter body, well carbonated.
Papaya, orange and pine are the headliners. Well balanced between the fruity hops and the resiny hops. Very enjoyable.

poured from a 16oz can into a veil willi becher pint glass. pours a hazy orange with a firm white foam head. oranges, pine, coconut and grass on the nose. taste follows with a lemon/lime and coconut finish but it’s citrusy sweet and really not at all bitter. easy to drink for a DIPA. thick, full mouthfeel. i thought this was top notch HBFTW.
