Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a one pint can on May 27, 2019. Tart and juicy with notes of passionfruit, peach and vanilla. Feel is creamy and smooth.

Hazy bright orange body with a finger of pearl white foam, very eye catching. This is the end of the good, not sure what happened here. The smell has very, very, sweet passionfruit, and to a lesser degree, peach, bathed in sugar and vanilla, with only a hint of hops, which is fine for style but not great. The taste is when disaster strikes: passion fruit is a syrupy adjunct shellacking the beer in an artificial and acidic way, the rest of the taste isn't great either, with the peach, orange, and hops getting obliterated by sugar and a finish that is strangely sour. Feels very separated amongst itself, and these satellite factions are declaring war on each other. Love the idea and the original galaxy bowl, but this is a swing and a miss, drain poured

16oz can PKG 5/22/19. Looked deep orange hazy, soft head. Smelled strongly of aged vanilla, and honestly thought it was a sour on the first whiffs. Taste followed withe strong vanilla, and tropical fruits. Maybe it's just my personal taste buds but this was way too sour for me, and probably should be redefined as such. Really hope they go back to brewing normal double NE IPAs and stop getting too experimental.

The look was a light hazy orange. The smell was definitely lot so f peach and vanilla. A little tropical smell in there too. The taste was vanilla and peach up front and some sweetness. It was very smooth and creamy. I liked this one.

Drain pour. Not often or someone you'd suspect...but this was pretty terrible.

Canned 5/21/19; drank 5/26/19 @ the Yarchives.

Opaque orange appearance.

A violent pour yielded a big white head; decent lace.

Passionfruit, vanilla & peach notes in the nose.

Sticky medium mouthfeel.

Dry passionfruit & vanilla flavors up front; sweet peach notes on the finish.

Too passionfruit forward; it's bold but the dryness & the sweetness clash rather than balance one another. Please, just brew Galaxy Bowl next time....

16oz can, PKG 5/22/19 I think it says. Creamy ivory head caps an opaque yellow-orange body. Aroma is peaches and cream, passion fruit, and tropical fruit. Flavors are sweet with notes of peach, vanilla, passion fruit, mango, and lactose. Full and creamy body, ample carbonation, very mild bitterness. I've had some other milkshake IPA's that I thought were much better than this one.
