I got a can of this beer from my good friend and old neighbor from the 'Wego. It poured a hazy golden with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had mango, melon and guava notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with semi sweet malt base with dank mango and guava presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

Dark gold in color with an extremely hazy complexion. There’s a fingernail of off white on top. Heavy, soapy lacing is present. The aroma is of green veggie and citrus. I’m tasting green veggies, lime, and lemon. The mouth is exceptionally smooth.

poured from a 16oz can into a veil willi becher pint glass. pours a hazy orange with a two finger frothy white foam head. very grassy on the nose. hints of white wine and grapefruit as it warms. the taste is very much dominated by grassy and earthy flavors. medium-full mouthfeel. kind of a watered down finish. not bad but HBftW is capable of better.

Thanks to FBarber for this absolute gem.
Turbid, muted orange with a fluffy white head that dominates the rim of the glass. I had to hold back a bit of the pour. Retention was solid, scattered lacing
Nose is grassy and herbal upfront with a smooth wash of green grapes, melon, peach, and earthy overripe mango. But all in all, it's a rather "green" delivery of scents.
This one really necessitates writing up the flavor and the mouthfeel as one, bound, entity. Starts off fluffy to the point of almost creamy. Pungent, forward, nay, assertive in its herbal punch of peppery notes grabs your focus. Slightly burny. Bitter, yet hinting at fruit: melon, lemon zest, overripe dragonfruit, wheat grass, and pineapple. This is fluffy with lively, and carbonation, and has a warm, drying bitterness to close things out. And it stays with you.
Overall, nice use of hops that I have traditionally been a bit gunshy about. Solid ride.

Pours a matte, completely opaque orange tinged yellow color. Very cloudy, opaque, almost sludgy in appearance. Two finger off-white head forms on the beer upon being poured. That head steadily dissipates leaving a slick layer of splotchy foam on top of the beer. Splotchy lacing covers the glass as the beer is consumed.
Aroma has notes of peach, white wine, melon, lemon peel and a hint of citrusy notes come through on the nose. Light grassy, herbal hoppy notes peep through on the back end, but the aroma is predominately fruity.
Taste follows the nose with notes of peach, white wine, citrus, lemon, and pineapple giving way to a moderately bitter herbal hop finish. Its almost got a hint of spiciness on the back end. The fruitiness is far more balanced with the herbal bitter flavors than the nose would have implied. There is a light sweetness to the beer, but its mild, especially for a Hop Butcher beer.
Feel is medium to fuller bodied. Vibrant carbonation. It is a bit rough - I wouldn't describe this one as a particularly smooth IPA like you'd tend to expect from a NE style IPA. Somewhat drier on the finish.
Overall I really enjoyed the hop flavors in this beer - I find that I am partial to the NZ hops and this was a very nice showcase of them. I also liked how this one allowed some hop bitterness to come through and the sweetness was kept in check - one of my favorite Hop Butcher IPAs in recent memory.

Hazy pale orange, ample creamy foam and lacing. Aroma is intense tangerine with some dried mango and fresh cut botanicals in the background. Medium bodied with a creamy texture, still manages to feel light. Resiny with a light hop burn, bitter grapefruit peel lingers with a punch of juicy jackfruit initially that fades quickly. It’s balanced and not overly sweet, both pluses in my book. Overall it’s a good, enjoyable NEIPA from Hop Butcher. Thanks to Bill for this one!

Canned 4/7/21; drank 4/9/21 @ the Yarchives.
Opaque orange/yellow appearance.
An even pour yielded a nice off-white head; a thick curtain of frothy tree-rung lace.
Lemon, ganja & orange peel notes in the nose.
Medium thick mouthfeel.
Lemon, skunk spray, orange peel & faint table sugar flavors.
Thick & kinda abrasive, especially for a "single" IPA. Not one I'll seek out again.
