I got a can of this beer from my good friend and old neighbor from the 'Wego. The beer poured a hazy yellow with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had bright citrus notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with tangerine and fresh orange citrus presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

Received from @fbarber in the NBS BIF #14. Canned on 10/12/2021. Poured into a Spiegelau IPA glass. It pours a hazy, bright yellow-orange with a large, fluffy, bright white head and thick, soapy lacing. The nose is floral and offers notes of pineapple, ripe melon, lemon, and grapefruit. The taste is big and fruity and provides both tropical sweetness and tart citrus. The Pacific Sunrise hops contribute a piney bitterness. Its mouth feel is moderately thick and creamy with pleasant carbonation, and at 6.2% ABV it drinks easily and quickly. Overall, Sunrise Over Northerly Island is another well-made and enjoyable IPAs from Hop Butcher.

Pours a matte, opaque bright yellow-orange color. Thick frothy white head forms on the beer.
Aroma has notes of pineapple, citrus, grape, melon and grass.
Taste follows the nose with notes of melon, grapes, citrus, and pineapple all on a crackery malt backbone. Light grassy bitterness. Not overly sweet.
Feel is light bodied. Sprightly carbonation.
Overall another excellent IPA from Hop Butcher.

Poured at fridge temp. Pours a nice murky orange/yellow with fluffy white head. Very nice looking!
Nose: Nice mixture of hops and sweet fruit. Fresh citrus (lemon and orange), resin, wood, damp leather, and grapes.
Taste: Really nice. Smooth and fairly 'light' tasting. Not overly hoppy at all. Smooth citrus (the fruit, not peel), grass, honey, banana, and some jolly rancher candy.
Mouthfeel and overall: Light and crisp. Overall, a really nice, easy-drinking IPA. Delicate and smooth.

16oz can served in a big snifter. Dated 10/12/21. Received from @FBarber in NBS BIF #14.
Pours a hazy whitish-yellow with a big fluffy head, collapses slowly and leaves thick lacing, lots of active carbonation. Smell is hop resin, citrus pith, grapefruit rind, maybe some melon.
Taste is not exactly along the same lines. Melon is a bit stronger, I get less citrus, and (probably because I read the word in someone else's review), I get more peach or maybe apricot flavor. I could also spin it as tropical. Juicy, but definitely not sweet.
Mouthfeel is medium or a little lighter, slight grittiness. This is a very nice beer.

Canned 10/12/21; drank 10/17/21 @ the Yarchives.
Opaque orange/yellow appearance.
A violent pour yielded a big white head; a thick curtain of tree-rung lace.
Peach, melon, grapefruit & dry grass notes in the nose.
Soft, medium mouthfeel.
Peach & lemon flavors up front; melon & dry grass notes on the finish.
An exemplary NE IPA; soft, fruity and just balanced enough with a pleasant dryness. Bravo!
