Yellow gold in color with a very hazy complexion. There’s a quarter inch of eggshell white on top. Moderate lacing. The aroma is of green veggies and earthy hops. I’m tasting green veggies and dank, earthy hops. The mouth is smooth and approachable.

Canned 12/10/22; drank 12/31/22 @ the Yarchives.

Mostly opaque yellow/orange appearance.

A rough pour yielded a huge eggshell head; a thick curtain of tree-rung lace.

Orange citrus, lemon peel & faint cane sugar notes in the nose.

Creamy medium mouthfeel.

Orange citrus & lemon peel flavors up front; mild ganja & some hop astringency on the finish.

Smelled great, tasted pretty good. About as good as Hop Butcher gets these days.

16oz can, dated 12.19.2022, poured into a 16oz tumbler glass.

The beer pours a very hazy and cloudy orange color, medium amber and honey hues with a foamy white head that rises a few fingers high and has excellent retention and lacing. The aroma is excellent, lots of peach and mango fruit, wildflower, mild citrus, berry fruits, pale dough, and sweet yeast. The flavors are great, bursting with peach and bright stone fruits, berry fruit, citrus, dough, yeast, and mineral water. The mouthfeel is good, coating, creamier heavy medium body that is smooth and finishes with a warm and dry bite.

Verdict: A nice IIPA from Hop Butcher. This hop combo brings out a lot of flavor and the beer doesn't succumb to the higher ABV and avoids any harshness or heat. It's bright, expressive, delicate and really sessionable.
