17 August 2020 - Beer #166
Price: $7.99 at Mr. B's in Denver
Appearance: 4 - a deep, dark orange with head for days.
Nose: 5 - smells like a very sour wine, which I guess was the plan.
Taste: 4 - the sourness hits then fades almost instantly. Back end is more vinous and acidic. Very interesting.
Mouth: 5 - on the thinner side, but remains tingly forever and ever.
Overall: 4 - really good sour. Would be tremendous with barrel treatment.
Cheers!
