one of the first roswell beers i have had, after having what feels like a million second use fruit beers from the leftovers. this is the raspberry one, and its fantastic, with a sparkling ruby red color and nice clarity and radiance, a funky tangy aroma thats true to the fruit and really makes the mouth water, and an intense fruit flavor without it being sugary, really well done overall. the berries are amazing in here, dark and concentrated and real, lord knows how much they must have used in here. the yeast profile is interesting here, i thought it would be more like traditional lambic, but its a fast bacterial sourness up front with a yogurt sort of funk to it later on, less bretty and woody than i thought it would be, although some of the acidity is obviously contributed by the berries, and some of that fruit intensity may cover up some of the wood as well, it just doesnt seem all that wild to me, lots of lactic action in here for sure. the fruit though is incredible, and the beer is relatively clean overall, especially for how bold it is. this is really cool beer, well refined, and a new quality standard for these guys it seems. id love to get my hands on the others in the series. really nice one here!

Best of the bunch, this thing is ridiculous. Jam to the max, tons of fruit and a soft almost creamy delivery. An awesome bottle that I'm glad I opened with some good friends. They absolutely nailed this beer, can't wait for them to do it again!
