A- 500ml bottle into a tulip glass with a murky pink ruby red grapefruit hued brew. A small foamy cap to a finger high with poor retention. Juicy ending leads to rare lacing.
S- Cherries and the brewing process truly leads to a four dimensional cherry experience with a good funky sour backing to balance everything out. Tart cherries, sweet cherries, black cherries and more cherries. Intense skin and pit notes backed by intense sourness, lemons, sour grapes and oak.
T- The beer really gets great here as the base sour opens up more and contests with the infinite layers of cherry. Sour cherry juice and intense cherry flesh and pit lead into lemons, pure lactic acid, sour stone fruit, sour wine grapes, worn oak, sour apple and funky-horse-bandaid-cherry pie Brett.
MF- Light bodied with a moderate level of carbonation and a puffy texture. In the end the sourness is rather high. Slick and oily feel on the palate.
Insane level of cherries that takes some contrast from the very sour base beer and a bit of oak. Wonderful cherry bliss.

So I assume the bottle leftpaw brought out was batch A, as I am looking at a pic of the bottle we drank and it has no mention of anything about being a gueuze like 3 year blend on the front, so this is going to be the slightly uncertain choice i make as to which one we drank (when we got down wit da sickness ooh ah ah ah ah).
Pours a dark crimson kind of vibe. The bright cherries did not win in the appearance battle for SRM. Thin barely off white head, but impressive for style, about 1/3". Aroma popped nicely for cherry. Very nice. I think of some real heavyweights when I think of cherry beers that smell this good. While I may enjoy some kettle soured beers, right here, this nose cannot be replicated that way.
Taste is very good, you have that interplay of different cherries, sour, rich, dark, bright on top of each other. Not overly acidic but with significant cherry, sour and wood. I dunno what is better than this style wise on this side of this side of the pond. It belongs discussion wise just as much as Casey, de Garde, Jester King, Bruery, Allagash, Cascade etc. . .

Sample at Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2018, Green Session. Aroma has mellow cherry notes, cherry blossom and tart fruit notes. Taste is tart, dry, fruity, a bit acidic and astringent.
