Another beer from Thanksgiving '21. This is basically one of those beer wine hybrids.
Pours golden out of a clear bottle. Orange wine like. Doesn't amass a head formation but it is carbonated. The aroma is that grape and lemon sourness. Light woodiness. Smells lighter than oak. Balsa.
Taste brings a heavy handed dry sourness amplified by the woody dry aspect in the mouth feel. The grapes stand out and proclaim this is a hybrid. Grapefruit zest and lemon. Prickly. Not problematic but noticeable amount of light booziness joining forces with the bitter grapefruit feel that for once isn't from bittering hops.
It was definitely enjoyable, but still lands in that niche of $25-30 bottles from Black Project that have a lot of similarity to others. Prolly not going to revisit at that price point, but you can check it out confidently knowing that its good enough to pay out the ass once and not get all chapped bhole about it.

Hazy burnt yellow with a thin fuzzy off-white blanket settling to a collar.
The medium-thin body has a crisp sourness delivering toasted sesame seed and a peachy, oak funk sharpened substantially by sour grapefruit and lemon notes.
