one of the first canned beers i have had from these guys, more trendy and less interesting than their best work, seems like a kettle sour to me, nothing interesting about the ferment really at all, but the fruit part is nice, raspberries and peaches. its got a nice pink color to it, a little frosted look to it, and a fizzy high rising and fast fading head. the nose here is quite tart. piquant and lactic, with the natural tartness of the raspberry exacerbated by it, which makes me get raspberry way ahead of peach up front, lots and lots of fruit though, very simple really though, especially for these guys, doesnt seem wild at all. the flavor is good, more raspberry than peach again, but both are present, natural, and identifiable, more peach late and as it warms, but i almost find myself wishing it provided a little more sweetness to offset some of the acid here. the souring is clean but its too intense for this to be very drinkable, and i am glad we are sharing the can around a number of ways, sharp on the teeth, not sloppy but harsh still. i am thankful for high carbonation and the dry finish though, this is quenching at first and then slows down for me, the raspberry is cool, and overall this tastes and feels pretty good, but i am left wanting more from it on the fermentation side, which is what these guys are supposed to be doing best right? fun to try one of their canned offerings, but i like the more wild stuff better...

Tasted in a Rastal Teku from a one pint can on June 30, 2021. Fruited, sour golden ale fermented with raspberry and peach. Very acidic and tart. Recommended.
