So Long And Goodnight is a medium bodied dark beer. Dark roast flavors as well as caramel, but it doesn’t go too deep and complex. It has a more pronounced hop character than our Stout. Great for dark quiet nights, sunsets and occasional sunrises.

A: The beer is very hazy dark brown in color. It poured with a half finger high tan colored head that died down, leaving a large patch of bubbles on the surface, a narrow collar around the edge, and some lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light aromas of roasted malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell, having flavors of roasted and dark malts with a light amount of bitterness. Roasted and burnt flavors linger into the finish—particularly as the beer warms up—but aren't that strong.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation. Only faint amounts of crispness are detectable.
O: This beer isn't that bitter for a Black IPA. It could almost be classified like an English Black Ale if there was such a style.
