Served in a small snifter from a tap at the brewpub.
Amber body with excellent clarity and a very good head.
An additional reward for a long motorcycle ride into the Blue Ridge Mtns. This pale ale has a floral and fruity nose with a hint of honey and some light bread.
The flavor is bit light in hops and perhaps mildly bitter for an American Pale Ale, at least in part due to the generous dose of caramel malts that jumps out towards the finish.
Very easy drinking. Nice patterned lacing remains on the glass.
