Flight at the brewery with Bro, Bob and Spanky. Lovely brewery in a lovely town. This amber was very good and would like to session with it next time I'm there

On tap at the brewpub. Served in a small snifter.
A long motorcycle ride into the Blue Ridge Mtns is a reward in itself. Nonetheless, this cold, well-balanced and tasty amber seems like a reward too. Dark as a nut brown ale, and with some resemblance in flavor, it is slightly more hoppy than average for style and has more roasted nut flavor.
Like most good ambers, it has plenty of caramel/toffee in the nose. Very easy drinking. Nice patterned lacing remains on the glass.
