The color is a slightly hazy amber. a white foamy head; The taste is mild, not bad but unremarkable; Pretty good mouthfeel; I'll enjoy this 6-pak. It's a light IPA.

Undated 12 oz can from a western North Carolina Ingles Market.

This slightly hazy, amber colored IPA comes with a decent white head. It has clean, well balanced flavor with plenty of hops matched well with the grains. The body is medium-light with medium+ carbonation.

Overall. Yet another excellent NC IPA.

Drinking this at The Lazy Hiker Brewing Company in beautiful downtown Sylva North Carolina with The Red Headed Lady of Snowbird Mountains Brewery fame.
Poured from a tap into a pint glass.
Looks light amber with a nice foamy white head that dropped quickly to a thin ring with lacing.
Smells citric orange, grapefruit and bready.
Taste follows the nose nicely with a good malt profile balanced by a good amount of citrus.
Mouth feel is medium plus for the style.
Overall a very nice example of a IPA almost like a Hopslam toned down a bit.
I will definitely order again.
Cheers!

12 oz can poured into pub glass
Hazy gold body nice white head
Fresh citrus piney hop aromas, 55 IBU says Lazy Hiker can
Very straightforward, balanced ale, clean finish; inviting and smooth
Good medium feel, this beer is very much what I want an IPA to be
Overall, Slack Pack IPA seems like a good share-able classic, versatile take-along!
Like a hiking/outdoorsy/camping beer should be. I probably will have this again, and would recommend it to someone if they were interested in this type of brew. Sometimes it gets hard to find just a good plain ol' ipa beer. This is a good one.
Recommend and enjoy!
