16oz can served in a hotel tumbler glass. Can is dated 02.07.2024.

Pours clear light golden, roughly an inch of head, not a lot of active carbonation after it settles down. Smell is a little bit of banana/melon, a little bit of earthy dankness, a little bit of sauteed vegetation sweetness.

Taste is similar, maybe the sweetness is damped a little bit, though certainly not gone. A little fruit skin bitterness, not much in the way of resin, rounds it out.

Mouthfeel is light, not too thick, maybe a bit too slick. Overall, it's not bad.

Pours a bright & effervescent gold with a finger of pearl colored head. Good head retention & lacing

S: Melons, peaches, some hints of Kiwi Fruit

T: Follows the nose, dryness, tangerine, a touch of watermelon & strawberry in here as well up front. Dryness, Kiwi Fruit, Cantaloupes, a kiss of tangerine as this beer warms up. Finishes a touch dry with green melon, tangerine & lime

MF: Medium body, fairly lively carbonation; lovely balance

Solid Offering, very easy to drink

Clear yellow brew with plenty of foam in the big wheat beer glass. Mouthfeel is sudsy and lively but very light bodied. Aroma is a mild hint of lemon with alfalfa. Rather dry and actually not very hoppy flavored. FInish is straw, dry, and "dusty." While slightly bitter, the acidity is the stronger sensation, and it ends in a mineral taste. While it's interesting in being so different from the endless fruity beers, this is less pleasant than many other IPAs. From the 16 oz can purchased at O'Shea's. Date not legible.

1/3/23 Batch! Sweet and subtle tropical fruity hoppy, hint of blueberry, and balanced piney-dank nose on this one! Taste follows with a clean, light, and tasty, hoppy-piney bitter finish. While this may not knock your socks off with anything and it may not singe the back of your throat with hoppy bitterness, I'm liking the deft touch and easy-drinking characteristics of this. This is just a well-balanced and well-done single westie! Riip beer knows how to make a west coast ipa...this is good!

look and smell suffer. feels and tastes good. it’s a quality IPA with a single hop - 100% strata. somewhat dank although not in a heavy way, more like a harsh way. lacks specialness though and i’m afraid it kind of blends into the background of plentiful west coast IPAs.
