What a great brew from Mammoth. Crisp and sweet full mouthfeel, lots of hops and malt.
Hops are there- grapefruit zest, juicy blood orange, then sweet red berry notes come in- pungent pomegranate, strawberries or raspberries?, maybe a touch of lime. Quite a delicious hop bouquet. Buttery, sweet bready malt undergirds the mouthfeel.
Big bodied beer with lots of great flavor that drinks real easy for any season. I'm a big fan.
Cheers

Sure wish this had a bottle date. No idea how old this is.
A: Pours a lighter amber/orange with a good sized fluffy tan head. Fades very slowly, leaving excellent scattered lacework behind. Even after a substantial amount of time, a big island of foam persists, refusing to die.
S: Some caramel and nuttiness. Almost ESB-like. Mild citrus maybe? A little brown sugar to boot?
T: Mild citrus but fades fast. Lots of caramel and brown sugar and again, a little bit of nuttiness. Toasted bread to boot. Very ESB-like for sure with a touch of hops. Toast in the finish and lingering into the earthy and bitter aftertaste.
M: Medium bodied, slightly drying on the back end. Kinda sticky in general.
O: Very malty brew, barely any notice of hops. Definitely smells and tastes like an ESB. I wouldn't have pegged it for an APA, myself. Hard to say because this might be an old bottle and the hops might be long gone. I will give this beer the benefit of the doubt on the scoring as a result.
