I had this on draught at the Cloverleaf Tavern. Served in a goblet. It pours a cloudy yellow-straw color with a foamy, egg-white colored head and lacing that didn't dissipate through the pour. It smells of dry red wine, floral hops, Belgian yeast and spice. The aging in wine barrels adds another dimension to the base Search Saison: it is dry but flavorful. After the initial taste of wine, you pick up the hops, Belgian yeast and spicing. It is well-crafted and has a really unique and pleasing taste. It is medium-bodied, moderately carbonated, and the 6.7% ABV seems just about right. Overall, this is a unique, and really pleasing, offering from Magnify. Hopefully, they will brew this one again.

I didn't think I'd enjoy this brew. I do like re wine but did not see red wine/beer working together but I was oh so wrong, they work. This is a superb brew from what I believe to be a true up and coming NJ brewery. Complex flavor throughout. The wine is there but very subtle. Good job by the Magnify crew. Cheers

On tap. poured into 16 oz pint glass.
L: unfiltered golden in appearance with light head and heavy lacing.
S: heavy grape with hint of citrus and funk
T: grape and dry wine followed by Belgian yeast and spices
O: very well done. This has the mouth feel more of a white wine, but these flavors compliment the malt and yeast almost perfectly

Mead, moscato, touch of Cabernet, hint of funk. Simultaneously complex and easily drinkable. On the sweet side for a saison, but that really works here. All around excellently crafted beer.

I liked the regular search saison but this one is phenomenal! Great mix of red wine on top of the base beer. Very smooth and drinkable. The red wine really compliments the funk of the original saison. This is another winner from Magnify.
