I had this on draught at the brewery. It pours a hazy, grassy-yellow color with a thin, milk-white head and lacing. It smells of malt, burnt peat, spice, a whiff of citrus. The initial taste is the smoke followed by the tastes normally experienced in a Saison: yeast, lemon peel, and a hint of coriander. This beer is moderately-carbonated and with an ABV of 6.6% it is easy to drink. Overall, the idea of a smoked Saison is intriguing. Magnify likes to experiment with Saisons. My only constructive criticism is that the smoke taste overwhelms the fruity, spicy Saison. If this were a little better balanced, then it would be outstanding. It's definitely worth a try.

Can't really understand the low ratings on here so far. This beer is terrific. Pretty straightforward. Not terribly complex. But goddamn. The smoke is such a bright and gentle smoke. That saison yeast pokes through nicely. Looks and feels great. I love this beer.

A: hazy, hazy wheat color, almost like a dull orange. 1 finger tan head

S: smoked meat, dank grass, white wine, lemongrass, a slight yeast spice, sweet malt

T: there is a harsh smoked flavor up front that tastes like what I imagine burnt wood would taste like. Behind that is a sharp hop-like grassy note. I'm not picking much else up besides that, maybe a little caramel malt

M: good mouthfeel, pretty high carbonation

O: I'm having this on draft at the brewery. Honestly, the flavor is way to harsh to be enjoyable, it almost tastes too raw. Do not recommend
