Flavor Waiver is a 11.5% Triple IPA brewed with some of our favorite people, RAR Brewing. We hit this beer with Simcoe and Vic Secret in the whirlpool and dry hop, and conditioned it on loads of lychee purée. So much flavor you'll need to sign a waiver.

Picked this up last year and finally got around to it tonight, as I've been going through my stash of Magnify beers. This was a beast compared to most of their other offerings that I've had and certainly not a typical IPA from this neck of the woods. Sticky and sweet, this was an Imperial IPA although the amount of booze that I could feel wasn't quite as strong as the ABV would have indicated, which was a good thing!
Nice pour to this as the liquid was a brassy gold with plenty of shine that gave this a wonderful brightness. Lots of head topped it off and the amount of lacing left behind was quite voluminous as well. Lots of lychee, apricot sweetness, sticky hops, and candied sugar in the nose as all of those really came forth in the taste. Combine that with booze, white chocolate, and tropical dankness and the end result was a strong beer that felt like a solidly crafted IPA (not imperial). A slick mouthfeel and light carbonation kept the flavors lively and long-lasting as this went down quite easily for it's level of potency.
Sure, this was hefty but I would have reached for another had there been more than one can here. Lychee is not something I see in a lot of beers but it complemented the hops nicely here and left me wanting more once I finished this off. A bit of candied sugar and floral undertones came through once this was down and the remnants lingered on my palate. Between this beer's complexity and it's legacy of having me want more, this was a clear winner. One of Magnify's better offerings and not typical in any sense. Indeed, this called for a waiver to be signed!

Pours very cloudy orange gold color with a solid 2 finger foamy white head that was full of bubbles, fading very, very slowly and leaving decent spotty foamy lacing as it went down.
Smells of caramel, sweet malt, roses, orange peel, fruity candy, floral hops, buttered wheat bread, candied sugar, lemon zest and clementine. It's very sweet and malty, but the citrus hops cut through for balance while masking the ABV. Sweeter smelling than I expected, but still very nice.
Flavor brings out some mild booze in addition to the caramel, sweet malt, graham cracker brown sugar, buttered wheat bread, candied sugar and toffee that starts it off. The back end is hoppy, but not the hop bomb normally coming with a triple IPA. The hoppy taste has orange peel, fruity candy, orange juice, red grapefruit, floral hops, roses, peach, and then fruits that seem like pineapple that starting to rot. The ABV brings some heat, but it's not bad.
Mouthfeel is thick with low carbonation and a bitterness level that's mild and overtaken by the boozy aspects. Perhaps this would have been hoppier if it was drank fresh, but all in all it was still a tasty triple IPA that went down easier then expected with that 11.5% ABV.

Poured into a 16 oz Magnify Snulip glass not sure when it was canned but I trust JZ got it fresh. Pours a very attractive slightly hazy orange, with a large 2 plus finger, sticky white head that leaves plenty of thick lace behind, before settling into a thin layer of bubbles.
Smell is apricot, hard candy apple, tangerine, pine, a little alcohol, stone fruit, and some aggressive grapefruit rind.
Taste follows pretty aggressive apricot, tangerine, and hard candy, with a slightly boozy piney grapefruit finish.
Mouthfeel is rather large, plenty of carbonation considering its 11.5 % ABV, maybe a little dry and slightly sticky, and yes it is big, but you wouldn't expect over 11%.
Overall this is a monster, that for a big Hop head can be tamed. A very nice beer from a great Brewery. Thanks jzeilinger for this one.

A - Pours a slightly hazy medium orange color with dense white creamy lacing and mild carbonation. As the beer warms it turns nice and clear.
S - Lychee fruit and juicy citrus, grapefruit, slight sweet malt, and some spicy fruit rind.
T - There's some definite alcohol presence that interferes a little with the overall flavor. Lychee, ruby red grapefruit, peppery fruit, and some sweet malt. Lingering fruity spice, bitterness, and some fruity bitterness.
M - Heavy medium body, very gentle carbonation and very dry.
O - Magnify really has the IPA thing down and this yet another nice creation from this small and mighty brewery.

Reviewed one week after release. Poured into Magnify tulip glass. It pours a lovely, almost clear golden-amber color with a huge, foamy, bright white head and extensive lacing with excellent retention. For a triple IPA, I expected more hops on the nose. The aroma is delicate and also features fresh lemon and malt. This is one strong, dank ale! It feels like I've fallen into the tank. The hops bite from the first sip and there's also subtle fruit not present on the nose, including a slight hint of pineapple. There is also a malt presence throughout. This ale has a creamy, almost silky mouth feel with moderate carbonation, and you can feel the 11.5% ABV from the first sip. Overall, if you like strong, dank, hoppy IPA's you'll really like this one. It is flavorful and the feel is great. It's a collaboration between Magnify and RAR Brewing and I hope they brew another batch.
