Up Up & Away was originally brewer with our friends from Sand City Brewing. This time we decided to kick it up a notch. Triple Dry Hopped Up Up & Away is an 8.5% Imperial IPA is hopped heavily in the whirlpool with Citra and Huell Melon and Triple Dry Hopped with irresponsible amounts of Galaxy as well as a touch of Citra pellets and Simcoe lupulin powder.

8/17/19...pours thick hazed golden yellow with a very light layer of white foam. Fruity citrus nose. Very fruity. Hard bitter open, juicy but firm. Significant bitter before, after and during. Chewy. Very tasty but overloaded.

Just a bit of tang from the hop profile. Good appearance for a NE IPA. Extremely bright and herbal nose.
Clearly hop focused, with the high ABV represented more as a full mouthfeel than as much identifiable malt backbone.

Canned on 1/21/2019. Poured into a Magnify tulip glass. It pours a murky, brownish gold color with a heavy, creamy milk-white cap and thick, creamy lacing. Its fragrant nose features lemon, lime, onion, pineapple, vanilla/lactose, pine needles, and fragrant hops. The taste opens with citrus: lemon, grapefruit, and pineapple, with a solid dose of vanilla cream and a hint of bubblegum at the finish. The blend of Citra, Huell Melon, Galaxy, and Simcoe is extremely flavorful and only mildly bitter. This ale has a creamy, delicate, plush taste. Its feel is soft, pillowy, and thick, with moderate carbonation, and it's very easy to drink despite its 8.5% ABV. Overall, this is simply delightful; an excellent collaboration between two of the best brewers in the NYC metro area.

Pours a deep straw color, very opaque and hazy, immense foam head that lasts forever. Huge dank aroma, lots of guava. Dank flavor as well: guava, pineapple, papaya, melon, citrus. Lots of flavors going on. Carbonation lends to a creamy mouthfeel. Overall, a really, really good DIPA. Going back to buy a few more 4-packs. ***BUY AGAIN!!***

I drank this out of Styrofoam cup in my office on 12/22....and it still knocked my socks off. Has nothing to do with drinking beer in my office, I do that all the time. Very impressed and makes for a great way to kick off the holidays...if you're still stuck at work. Cheers!

From can.
Cloudy, opaque orange appearance with good bit of foam upon aggressive pour. Loads of orange citrus aroma and flavor. The beer is quite sweet, from the triple dry hopping, but most triple dry hopped beers are overly sweet. This is still manageable and not going to give you diabetes. The mouthfeel though, is on point. Soft, yet full.
Probably the best triple dry hopped beer I've had.
