Yeah You Know Me is a massive 15% Imperial Stout brewed in collaboration with Kyle from Horus Aged Ales. Our goal was to make a thick, fudgey imperial stout. We started with a double mashed imperial stout base. Post fermentation we added the most insane coffee we could find. This single origin coffee from the Fazenda Santa Ines farm in Brazil had cocoa nibs and almonds added to it while roasting. As a result, the coffee imparted deep cocoa and nutty aromas into this beer.

Pours dark and opaque, visibly sticky and syrupy. Aroma is sweet, chocolaty, and for a moment, somewhat fruity. Flavor is pure Mexican chocolate cake, like a sweet, spicy, cocoa-licious brownie. Mouthfeel is lighter than you'd expect, but only at first; the finish is ooey gooey. Really good stuff.

edit: Had to update this, because I just realized this stuff is 15%. THAT is impressive. Drinks like an 8%, easily. Was wondering why I was feeling it halfway through. Absolutely no detectable booziness, astonishingly stealthy. Updating taste to 5, feel to 4.75, and overall to 5. Bravo.

L-Pitch black......2 fingered mocha head which settles to a 1/4 cap.....lacing is thick

S-Aroma is sweet mocha with vanilla and marshmallow........some roasty coffee, chocolate, vanilla, slightly nutty

T-Sweet and roasty.......heavy on the chocolate, the coffee with the almonds taking a backseat to the aforementioned.........there is a creamy vanilla / marshmallow element that provides a bit too much sweetness

F-Thick, creamy, low carbonation........slight heat from the alcohol but doesn't feel like 15% worth

O-Great feel, different style for magnify.......a bit too sweet for my preference for the style.......hoping to try this after it ages in the bourbon barrel maybe it will cut into the sweetness

Well now, Magnify is known for their IPA game and rightfully so. This is a game changer. What a fantastic Stout. Pours jet black with wonderful aroma of Chocolate n Coffee. Drinks thick and chewy as a Stout should. Amazing flavors that improve as it warms. Excellent Stout that is best sipped slowly. The 15% is there but well hidden with all the flavor. They put 1/2 of this batch into Bourbon Barrels, really looking forward to that. Well done boys.

Reviewed on release date. Poured from 16 oz. can into Magnify tulip glass. It pours virtually jet black with dark walnut hues when held to the light, and almost two fingers of foamy, cafe au lait colored head and lacing with excellent retention. It's a beautiful pour. The smell is decadent: huge dark chocolate, roasted malt, and freshly brewed coffee. The taste opens with burnt coffee, rich, dark chocolate, and nuts. It's just delicious! The only thing that's missing is dark fruit. You can also taste the alcohol at the finish. The feel is tremendous: viscous, rich, and chewy, with low carbonation. There's no hiding the 15% ABV on this beast; you can taste and feel it. What's really impressive, though, is that the base flavors overcome the alcohol. This is one delicious stout. I wish it were 10 or 11% because it's hard to drink more than one pour. Overall, this is a stout lover's stout. The flavor is superb. I recommend that you not drink it on an empty stomach, though. I really hope Magnify brews this one again.
