L - classic Magnify. How dark and hazy can we make our beer without it looking like swamp murk? The answer is it's all relative.
S - pretty nice orangey peach pop on can crack. Some pineapple candy on the back. The dank comes creeping in with resin and onion.
T - packed full of hops, that's for sure. Something Magnify likes to do and does well! Prickly grapefruit rind and melon juice. Vague coriander and lots of yeasty, bitter hop oils. Sweetness in the middle: candied lemon and pineapple. Mosaic peeks through with a bit of doughiness. Hint of vanilla or creamsicle to smooth things out, and then the aftertaste jumps right back into the fire with mild acidity and herbal bitterness.
F - can definitely feel the hops, as you should. Not exactly mealy, but coats the mouth. Viscous and creamy.
O - pungent and vintage Magnify. Feels a little empty and rehashed, but well done all the same. Great showcase of some unique hops and great example of drying hopping to boot.

Sadly, I missed the can release but had this at the brewery one week after release. And I'm glad I did. It pours an opaque, dirty-golden orange (I wish the light in the brewery were better) with a finger of foamy, bright white head and lacing that lasted through the pour. It has a pleasant smell of lemon, tangerine, and sweet tropical fruit, along with light but pleasant hops. I really liked the taste: it opens with lemon and sweet honeydew melon, and is followed by lactose and a wash of Citra, Mosaic, and Waimea hops. I'm a big fan of New Zealand hops and they add to the taste. It's a great blend of sweet and bitter and really delicious. This ale has a nice, creamy mouth feel with moderate carbonation. The 8% ABV gives it a nice pop. Overall, this DIPA is extremely well-crafted and flavorful. I'm really impressed!
